Murder trial for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery continues in Georgia

 The trial of Gregory McMichael, his son Travis McMichael, and their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. continues in Glynn County, Georgia. The three White men are charged with malice and felony murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man fatally shot while out for a jog on February 23, 2020. Here's the latest.


- The men have pleaded not guilty and also face charges of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment - On Wednesday, defendant Travis McMichael took to the stand to testify in his own defense - A medical examiner on Tuesday told the jury that Arbery died from multiple shotgun wounds, according to USA Today, as the prosecution rested its case - The presiding judge denied the defense's requests on both Monday and Wednesday for a mistrial due to the presence of civil rights leaders in the courtroom
